One cabinet. Always on.
An Agbara Stack holds up to 60 kWh† in a single cabinet, enough to run a typical business site for 6 to 12 hours on a single charge†. Sites that need more link several stacks together.
We are developing long duration energy storage systems that give businesses fully renewable, affordable and reliable power.
The problem
When the grid goes off, the batteries most businesses buy today last about three hours. After that, they go back to diesel generators until power returns.
A 12-hour power cut
Why Agbara
Agbara is building a future of limitless energy: power abundant and reliable enough to match the potential of Africa’s businesses. We’re reimagining long‑duration energy storage with zinc‑based chemistry, high‑density configurations and AI‑driven controls.
Power whenever the grid is off.
Replace your diesel generator entirely.
We install, monitor and maintain it.
The Agbara Stack
Every Agbara system is a cabinet of sealed battery modules, a power system and our own software. Here is what each part does for your site.
An Agbara Stack holds up to 60 kWh† in a single cabinet, enough to run a typical business site for 6 to 12 hours on a single charge†. Sites that need more link several stacks together.
Each module is made of small sealed blocks. There are no pumps, tanks or liquids to look after at your site. If a block ever fails, we swap that block, not the battery.
Nothing in an Agbara battery burns, and nothing needs cooling. It is designed to run at 45°C† with no air‑conditioning, so you never pay to keep your battery cool.
A reserve module in every stack holds backup charge while the site is quiet and handles the surge when motors, compressors or lifts switch on.
Every module reports to the controller in the cabinet. Agbara OS runs the power system, keeps each module healthy with automatic maintenance cycles, and stays online over 4G or satellite. GPS and tamper sensors protect remote sites. We see a problem before you do.
We are building our lab and pilot line in Agbara, Ogun State. Most of what goes into the battery is common industrial material, and we work with equipment and suppliers that already operate in Nigeria.
† Design targets. Final figures will be confirmed in pilot testing.
